Hi! It’s so nice to meet you, I’m glad you’re here!

My name is Makayla, and I’m the owner of MG Beauty! I whole-heartedly believe that being a Bridal Hair and Makeup Artist/Esthetician is the DREAM JOB! I truly appreciate the way makeup and hair styling can enhance natural beauty and with over 8 years in the industry, there’s nothing I love more than being apart of my clients big day! 

The beauty industry is always evolving and I make it a priority to stay up to date with the latest trends, styles, products and more while still providing a timeless, classy, and elegant approach to beauty. I keep my kit stocked with a variety of high-quality, professional makeup and hair products and pride myself in the ability to complete any look on any age, skin-type, tone, and texture.

Some of my favorite brands are Dior, Makeup by Mario, Makeup Atelier, Danessa Myricks, Skindinavia, RCMA, Anastasia Beverly Hills, Tresemé, Chi, and Kenra. 

When I’m not the one behind the makeup and hair, you’ll typically find me with my wife (Basher) and our goldendoodle (Bernie)! We love taking weekend trips to the beach, thrift shopping, crafting, and spending a good movie-night in. We’re also trying our hardest to travel and see as much of the world as we can! (Next location: Costa Rica!) I also consider myself a multi-faceted creative and lover of MANY things — Reading, sewing, crocheting, art in many forms - painting, journaling, design, photography. You name it! I also have quite the green thumb, and REALLY enjoy gardening and adding to my house plant collection. I’m also easily won over with a Starbucks cold brew and I’m a sucker for when the weather’s actually nice enough here, in the good ‘ol PNW, to walk my dog.
